Day Nine, Plyometrics again!

OMG, I realized that today was easier than last week. Not much but enough to notice. My stomach still hurts so the jumping was painful but I did what I could which is still better than the first time. Didn't weigh myself this morning but at 10:30PM I'm 205. WTF. Although my belt is at the 34inch notch not the 36 now. I'll say I'm building muscle. Yeah That's it!!!

Day Eight

Day 8 was easier than day 1, until my accident prone butt pulled something in my stomach and couldn't complete the last 4 sets of push-ups. last two videos I hurt myself somehow. I'll have to be more careful from now on. Oh well, I feel good about the ones I did get done. There were more than last time. The eating plan still still going good.  Still teetering in the weight range of 200-202lbs though. I'll be glad when I'm in the 190's. Then I can complain about wanting to be in the 180's. Although 4 months ago I was at 128lbs and lost most of that from switching to diet sodas. No Soda should be even better.

Day Six

So my dumb-ass hyperextended my left arm 5 minutes into the video. I made it for 30 minutes and then a few things here and there, but didn't finish it. Tomorrow is a resting day so I hope my arem feel better by monday so I can BRING IT!. Jeanna finished it and I'm proud of her.

Day Five Recovering from Yoga X

here I thought Yoga was going to be easy and mostly stretching, HELL NO!!! I was sweating my ass of 15 minutes into it. Yoga X is 90 minutes long,,, Jeanna and I made it 30... woke up today weighing 200.2lbs... I hope by next week I'll see mid to low 190s... woot!

Day Four, Pretty good day

Shoulders and Back was the theme of the day Diet is going good, although I'm afraid I'm not getting enough proteins. I need 9 servings of proteins which is quite a lot from what I'm understanding. I'm going to go and double check everything so I know exactly how many proteins carbs, and fats I'm getting in case I need to modify things. I want to make sure I'm sticking to the plan. Tomorrow morning I will update real quick with a weigh in first thing in the morning.

Side note: My meals for today,
7:15am Breakfast: 2 scrambled eggs with 1/8c light cheddar cheese and a fruit protein shake and 1 cup black coffee
10:15am Snack: 2 string cheese sticks (low fat)
12:30pm Lunch: A salad made with, 4 cups mixed spinach and ice-burg lettuce mix, 1/8c light cheddar cheese, 10 shrimp sauteed in cooking spray and 3Tbsp light raspberry vinaigrette and a vitamin water
3:00pm Snack: snickers marathon protein bar and another vitamin water
6:15pm Dinner: 6-7oz baked chicken breast 3/4c low fat cottage cheese and 1c asparagus tips cooked in chicken broth and garlic.
8:30pm After workout: protein shake and coffee.
throughout the day: 3 - 20oz bottles of water and a glass or two

Day Three Plyometrics...Passed!

OK so now I know I'm WAY out of shape! after about 15 minutes my side felt like someone jabbed a lawnmower blade into it. I thought my legs were in decent shape actually....WRONG! kept with it and kept moving, even if my form was weak and lazy and I took twice the water breaks. weighed in on the day 4 morning and I'm at 201.3lbs. Um....I'm up over a pound from yesterday? Crap!!! Oh well I know the body's weight fluctuates. I'll be happy when the scale reads 165 but until then I'm going for small goals so target weight is 197 for week one. I did cheat and have a monster zero at lunch yesterday (day3) Oh and to clear up confusion, I'm running a day behind in the exercises so day 3 is exercises for day two, Clear as mud, I know! and today's exercises are shoulders and arms, Yeah dumbbells.... Day 2, Murphys law was written for me!

After a long busy day at work I had to meet up with my old roommate about a car I'm buying from him. The stupid thing ended up having a bad water pump so I was pretty much stuck there as the van is dead also. long story short it was 10PM before I got home and I hadn't even eaten dinner yet. I weighed in today (which is actually day 3) and my weight is 200.5 pounds. Which is 4.5lbs lower than Sunday morning. Dunno if that's possible but I'm also taking colon cleansers too so maybe it is. I didn't do the workout, but I kicked but at work so I'll consider that a positive. I think the high protein low carb diet is helping though. (It's the Fat Shredder Phase) OH my weight for day two morning was 207.9 Remember I"m on Day 3 today but I'll blog in the evening or tomorrow AM.

First workout

Did someone get the number of the bus that just hit my ass? Followed the whole first routine. I feel like a damn greyhound ran my ass over. I feel great knowing that I took the first step. my numbers of reps are small but I pushed past my goals and feel good about it. P90X is fun so far. the kids try a little and Jeanna stuck with me too. Lets hope we both follow through and feel good about the workouts and ourselves in 90 days.   Peace!

I'm not going to bore you with what I eat every day, or with what exercises I do, Unless I slip and pig out on mountain dew, doritos, mustard flavored gummy bears, ect.

First Post Will90X Pre-Launch Checklist

For a while I've felt like crap. Mentally, physically, and emotionally. That Stops Tomorrow. January 22nd 2012 I vow to enact "Will90X"! I will start doing P90X and I will be tracking progress here. P90X, (for those who don't know) is an intensive workout system designed to lose weight, eat healthier and feel better. I'm ready! My target completion date is April 25th 2012. That date allows for only 3 "setback" days. I am going to weigh tonight and in the morning for a beginning weight.

Beginning Weight: 207lb Night Weigh-in -- Target Healthy weight: 155Lb
Beginning Body Fat: 23% -- Ideal Body Fat: 8-10%
Waist Line: 35in
Height: 5'7"
